In creating one of our Masterpieces, we took on the challenge of celebrating the life of Living Celebrations' owner, Sheryl Entwistle. At age 50, Sheryl, who has lived her life as a journey of self-discovery, has traveled down many roads. We wanted to capture a sense of this journey - as well as her more literal love of globe-trotting - so we developed a collection of customized travel art.

Using the style of vintage travel posters, we created images to celebrate the memorable moments in her life, from her adventure of swimming with stingrays to her mountaintop wedding. We bound the images in a hand-sewn book, and created a miniature suitcase for storage and presentation. The narrative is enhanced with multiple stories and anecdotes about Sheryl, plus a running timeline with global dates intertwined with her personal history. As a finishing touch, we transformed the travel posters into stickers, which we used to decorate the suitcase.
