A CEO commissioned this Masterpiece to honor her stepfather, a man whose story is larger than life. He has risen from rags to riches, founded a multi-million dollar company, traveled the world, and rubbed shoulders with Hollywood celebrities. We knew his Masterpiece would need to be equally as impressive.

One thing that stood out to our creative team was the cinematic quality of the celebrant’s life experiences. His extraordinary adventures paired with his ties to Hollywood form a tale worthy of the silver screen. And with the patron’s approval, our artists set to work creating a Masterpiece along this theme.

After a series of interviews, the celebrity biographer on our team chronicled the celebrant’s life story. She penned a 132-page screenplay complete with scene headings, imagery and bits of dialogue peppered throughout the narrative. Then the manuscript was hand typed on a vintage typewriter, illustrated with original line drawings, and hand bound by a bookbinder.

Next, our storyboard artist developed nine storyboards to illustrate important scenes from the celebrant’s life. For storage and presentation, we acquired genuine film reel canisters and fitted them with custom compartments to hold the screenplay and companion storyboards. We embellished the outside of the film canisters as well; they were laser etched with original artwork and quotes from the celebrant's family and friends.
